UNIKOM Medal

The United Nations Iraq Kuwait Observation Medal was issued in 1991.

The obverse of this bronze medal has a globe emblem surrounded by a wreath with the letters "UN" at the top. On the reverse it has the words "IN THE SERVICE OF PEACE."

The ribbon is sand coloured with a narrow central stripe of pale blue.
