Long Service and Jubilee Medals

Long service medals have been in service since the first issue in 1838 by Queen Victoria. As their name suggests Long service medals reward lengthy service without breaking the rules (commonly referred to as "undetected crime".).

The first Jubilee medal to be struck was done in 1887 to commerate Queen Victoria's fifthieth year. More recently the Armed forces have been issued the Queen's Golden Jubilee medal in 2002 to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's fifthieth year on the throne.

Long Service & Good Conduct Medal (Army) The LS&GC Army medal was authorised in 1830 by Army Circular 685. The medal is now awarded for 15 years undetected crime.

Efficiency Medal Issued to members of the Territorial Army who had completed 12 years service.

Queen's Golden Jubilee The Golden Jubilee Medal was issued to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's 50th anniversary on the throne.

Accumulated Campaign Service Medal The Accumulated Campaign Service Medal was institued in January 1994 and is awarded to members of all the armed service who complete 36 months of accumulated campaign service since 14 August 1969.
