General Service Medal 1918-62 with Cyprus Clasp

The General Service Medal 1918-62 with Cyprus clasp was authorised under Army Order No 80, which was released in 1957.

The qualification period for the clasp was four months or 120 days service with a unit stationed in Cyprus. This service need not be continuous. The qualification period was the same for both the Army and the RAF.
